Olivia Diab is an attorney in our Labor & Employment department.
Olivia focuses her practice on advising and representing employers in a wide range of employment law matters, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour compliance, leaves of absence, and reasonable accommodation. She provides strategic counseling to help employers navigate employee relations issues, develop compliant policies and practices, and respond to administrative charges and employment litigation in state and federal forums.
Before joining Folger Levin, Olivia gained extensive experience as a litigator, representing clients in disputes across a broad range of practice areas, including employment disputes as well as defamation, breach of contract, antitrust, and trade-secret matters.
Olivia earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she served as an Online Editor of the UCLA Law Review, was a member of the UCLA Law Trial Team, and co-founded the Middle Eastern & North African Law Students Association. She received the Masin Family Academic Silver Award in Critical Race Theory.
Prior to law school, Olivia conducted biological psychiatry research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, examining biomarkers of PTSD in connection with World Trade Center first responders.
Olivia is a member of the California Bar.
